Highlights include: Nas‘ infamous rant against Hot 97 & Jay Z & Kanye West‘s tirade aimed at iHeart, with DJ Khaled & Drake catching strays. Dj Akademiks is also included, alluding to Roddy Ricch‘s camp performing shady practices. Nicki Minaj flat out says Cardi B built her career from “sympathy and payola“.
This is not the first, deepest, or most explosive exploration into the topic. It does, however, give a great overview. An introduction into the world of “Payola”.
