According to TMZ: LA County was put on notice that Nipsey Hussle‘s brother Sam “Blacc Sam” Asghedom and Crips LLC reached an agreement over “The Marathon Continues”. Black Sam attempted to trademark “TMC”, when he was told that it’d been trademarked 12 days prior. Just a few days after Hussle’s assassination, Crips LLC trademarked the commonly used NH phrase.

REVOLT published a statement where Crips LLC sent their regards about the mix up, saying: “…We realize that our actions may have been offensive to his family“, “…We respectively vow to support the wishes of Lauren London and the Asghedom family“.
